Who we are

Waterline Floors is a brand operated by LeadSquad (“LeadSquad,” “we,” “us”). LeadSquad owns and runs this website.

Flooring measurement, estimates and installation are provided by an independent flooring installation company (“the Installer”) and its licensed, insured installers. The Installer is named in the written agreement you sign before any work begins. When you ask for a free in-home measurement, the Installer is the company that contacts you, visits your home and does the work.

What we collect

Information you give us when you fill out the estimate form or call us:

Information about calls. Calls to our phone number go through a call-tracking service. It records the number you called from, the date, time and length of the call, and the page you called from.

Information collected automatically when you use the site:

• IP address, browser and device type, and general location based on IP address
• Pages you view, links you click, the site that referred you, and the time you spent on each page
• Cookies and similar technologies, described below

A record of the estimate form. When you submit the form, a service called TrustedForm, from ActiveProspect, records how you filled it out and saves a certificate showing the consent language that was on screen when you submitted. This record is kept to prove what you agreed to.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, payment card numbers or financial account information on this website.

How we use it

Who we share it with

The Installer. When you submit the form or call us, we share your contact information and project details with the Installer, an independent flooring installation company. The Installer pays LeadSquad for these requests and uses your information under its own privacy policy, which it gives you when it contacts you.

Service providers that help us run the site, only for that purpose:

• Website hosting: Hostinger
• Delivering your request to the Installer: LeadsPedia
• Consent records: ActiveProspect (TrustedForm)
• Analytics: Google Analytics
• Call tracking: a call-tracking service that provides our phone number

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.

Business transfers. If LeadSquad or this website is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner, who must follow this policy for information collected under it.

We do not share your information with any other home-improvement company.

Calls, texts and email

If you agree on the estimate form, Waterline Floors may call and text you at the number you give. These calls and texts are about your flooring request. They may come from LeadSquad or from the Installer acting for Waterline Floors, and may use automated technology and prerecorded messages. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything.

To stop:

• Tell the person who calls you that you do not want more calls

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, measure traffic, and see which pages lead to estimate requests. Google Analytics collects usage data under Google’s policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The site still works without cookies. Some features, such as form spam protection, may not.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you and get a copy
• Correct information that is wrong
• Delete your information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising

To make any other request, email privacy@leadsquad.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Tell us your name, the phone number or email you used, and what you would like us to do. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law allows, usually 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will tell you the result of the appeal in writing.

Once your information has been sent to the Installer, they hold their own copy. We will pass your deletion or opt-out request to them, and you can also contact them directly.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and consent records for 5 years so we can prove consent and answer questions about a request. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited access to stored requests, and form spam protection. No website is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission.

Children

This website is for adults and homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, email privacy@leadsquad.com and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

This website may link to other sites, such as flooring manufacturers or government resources. We are not responsible for how those sites handle information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date at the top when we do. If a change significantly affects how we use information we already have, we will post a notice on this website before it takes effect.
