Can vinyl plank go right over the original tile in our Trinity home?
Often, yes. If the tile is flat and still firmly bonded, plank can float over it with no demolition. Deep grout lines may need filling so they don't show through. Any tile that sounds hollow or rocks underfoot has to come out first. The installer checks all of this during the free measurement.
